In the making: "hybrid" Engineer

1

Proposed by: Salman Asadullah Submitted on Oct 8, 2014 at 10:24 AM

DevOps, Programming and API knowledge are common themes across SDN and “Open”. As we focus more on software, we will see a proliferation of APIs and automation, and a need to understand programming and DevOps. An effective “hybrid” engineer tomorrow will have both solid networking skills as well as an understanding of programmatic concepts. This session will share what steps Cisco Americas Partners Organization (APO) is taking for enablement and it's findings.
